Whipped feta dip with honey is the perfect appetizer for two, or a very small group of people. Its hard to find an appetizer thats just enough for a couple of people. Whenever I have a few friends over, or if its just me and my husband, its nice to make an appetizer to munch on with drinks.
Every time I make an appetizer for a small group of people, theres always left overs, or its thrown away. Who wants that? I don’t know about you, but I hate wasting food.
This dip was so so easy to put together. And the best part is that it’s not that bad for you. IF you use fat free, and low fat for your dairy ingredients. Also, depending on what you use to dip, if you use pita chips or bread like I did, the carbs can add up. But if you use a vegetable…like carrots…that wouldn’t be so bad!
Not to mention, theres a lot of protein in ricotta cheese. So it fills you up as well!
I would have never thought to blend together ricotta cheese and feta cheese. I wouldn’t have thought of bending feta cheese period. Blending these two cheeses together makes for the perfect whipped consistency.
If you’ve had feta cheese before, you know its super salty. So, no salt needed in this recipe! The honey adds the perfect sweetness to this dip, which turns it into a sweet and savory dip!
Enjoy!
