Best Ever Espresso Martini

Best ever espresso martini is every coffee lovers cocktail! Decadent flavors of espresso, mixed with sweet kahlúa and plain vodka. Simple and delicious!

Ok, not to toot my own horn, but this best ever espresso martini is better than some that I have had out at bars or restaurants.

I can thank my mother for getting me into these bad boys!

Your typical espresso martini has baileys in it, and is creamy looking. But my mom ordered hers without baileys, and I had NO idea that was a thing!

I’m not a fan of baileys, so thats why I never thought to order an espresso martini. But once I tried a sip of my moms (with no baileys) my mouth dropped. I couldn’t believe how tasty it was, and the fact I have been missing out on this delicious cocktail for years!

I’ve heard a bar tender say “if your espresso martini has foam on top, its a good one!”. It means there’s actual espresso in it! And thats what you want.

Some places use that artificial, espresso flavored vodka in place of real espresso. Thats a big NO for me.

And it’s so easy to brew up a cup or two of espresso, and keep it in a mason jar in your fridge for when you want to use it for a martini.

Of course…you need those three coffee beans on top as a garnish for good luck!

And if you want to hear a funny story, I took those 3 coffee beans you see in my photos from a martini I had out at a bar the night before I made this drink! Its hard to find a small bag of coffee beans just for martinis, LOL!

If you make this martini, I hope you enjoy it!

Remember to always drink responsibly!
