I absolutely love cooking, and baking with herbs. It wasn’t until too long ago that I started to actually appreciate fresh herbs. I never really used them. And if I did, it would be very little, and not fresh. I would use the dried herbs you buy at the store.

Using fresh herbs for anything is seriously a game changer.

You know how I said this butter is easy to make? Well, it is! All you need is a stick of salted butter, some fresh chopped herbs, onion powder, and minced garlic. How simple and easy is that?

Smash it all together with a fork (my preference) and thats it! You can either make it ahead of time, a day or two to let the flavors marinate. Or you can serve right away. But I highly recommend making it ahead of time. The flavor is better!

You can use this butter as a spread, or mix it into a pasta dish. You can even add it into a baked good to make it savory! I made some cornbread, and added some of this butter, melted in the batter for a savory flavor. It was delish!

Garlic And Herb Butter

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick of salted butter, softened I used country crock avocado plant based butter
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh sage, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together using a fork to easily mash.
  • Make sure everything is well combined, and butter is nice and smooth and soft.
  • Chill overnight for even more flavor, or use immediately.
  • Store butter in fridge.
  • Enjoy!
