This recipe for peanut butter and honey cereal bars is definitely a crowd pleaser. Its perfect for younger kids, older kids, adults, anyone! With only having 4 simple ingredients, who can say no to that?
Honey, cheerios, vanilla extract and all natural peanut butter.
It is as simple as heating up your peanut butter, and honey in a medium size sauce pan, adding your vanilla, then your cheerios and mixing everything around, placing your mixture into a pan, chilling and then enjoying!
It’s important to make sure your honey and peanut butter are nicely combined and heated until they turn into this nice, silky smooth texture.
If you pan with parchment paper, it will make it easy to just lift them up and cut them into squares when they are done chilling. Also, no messy pan to wash! Win win.
It’s going to be a long hour to wait for these bars to set and chill. The smell of them will be one big tease!
You can enjoy these bars as is, or dip them in your favorite milk!
When I was trying one for the first time, I figured it it would be tasty…but not addicting! These bars have the perfect taste, sweetness and crunch to them. I could have just one!!
Chilling them is important so they are stick together!
Enjoy!
