This blueberry and goat cheese flatbread pizza is a delicious and creative mix between sweet and savory. Flatbread brushed with a garlic olive oil, topped with fresh blueberries, creamy goat cheese, and caramelized onions. Drizzled with honey and fresh sage!
This blueberry and goat cheese flatbread pizza can be a dinner or an appetizer! I could easily eat an entire pizza myself for dinner. But its nice and light, so it would also be a perfect appetizer if shared!
I love getting creative when it comes to pizzas. Mixing sweet and savory ingredients together with fresh herbs is my favorite. It all creates the best flavors.
I had my sister over the other night for a girls night, aka stuffing our faces and drinking wine. So I knew I had to think of something yummy to make to eat. I thought of making this recipe idea, and brought it up to her. Her reaction was a little iffy when I mentioned blueberries on pizza…
Well, I clearly ended up making it because I know my sister, and I knew she would end up loving it, even thought she didn’t think so.
We both had a slice in our hands, said “cheers” and tried our first bites!
Her reaction…”omg…holy s**t! This is freaking amazing!!!”. My thoughts exactly. It was damn good!!!!!!
The flavor combinations were out of this world! Let’s just say, between her and I, we both finished two of those pizzas. And we had no shame what so ever. It was too good to even feel bad about our decisions!
…I mean, it has to be somewhat healthy, right? Blueberries are great for you! 🙂
I hope you enjoy this amazing recipe as much as my sister and I did!!
