Oh yeah, I cant forget to mention how EASY this recipe is to make. That’s a bonus!
If not, its pretty much a big bowl of healthy foods. Usually includes a grain, some type of vegetables, with a tahini drizzle, or some type of dressing. I read that they are usually served cold.
I guess this recipe is kinda like a Buddha bowl, in a way.
If you are a vegetarian, or a meat lover, this recipe is great for anyone! It’s loaded with sweet potatoes, which have lots of fiber. So they keep you nice and full!
I used couscous for my grain, but you can used pretty much any grain you’d like. I like using the Bobs Red Mill golden couscous. Its super easy to make, simple and delicious!
Ive seen a lot of different types of couscous, and different brands. Just be careful and make sure to use a couscous that is whole, and not loaded with additives!
This couscous has one ingredient, which is Durham wheat. Simple!
I drizzled mine with some balsamic glaze. I figured the flavor combo would be tasty…and it was!!
