Super Easy Cinnamon Crunch Knots

These super easy cinnamon crunch knots are perfection! Sweet, soft bread is topped with clumps of cinnamon and brown sugar that has the perfect crunch. So simple, so easy, so delicious!

I love bread! I love making bread, and I love eating bread! These super easy cinnamon crunch knots will make you look like a true bread baker. They look so fancy, you could fool anyone. But between you and I, they are so easy! Hence their name…

Im sure most of you are well aware of the famous cinastix from dominoes pizza. I don’t know about you, but I almost always have to add an order of those to any order from dominoes!

Well, these cinnamon crunch knots are somewhat like cinastix. Except, better. They have that homemade taste that you cant beat!

Let me just explain to you, with photos how easy these are to make…

First, you make the bread dough by mixing your flour, yeast and salt together. It is easy to use a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment. But if you don’t have that, you can use a wooden spoon to mix. You’ll just have to knead the dough by hand.

Then you add in your warm milk, honey and some butter. Mix those ingredients together for a few minutes, until your dough forms into a ball. You don’t want your dough to be sticky.

Let it rise…

Cover your dough with a towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise for an hour in a warm place. A trick I do is heat up my microwave (empty) for 30 seconds, and but my bowl in there. Dough with yeast needs warmth to rise correctly.

Your dough won’t rise too much, but it will puff up a little.

Now, you want to roll your dough out on a floured surface, into a rectangle shape. About 1/4 inches thick.

Heres the fun part, when things start to get tasty and unhealthy..

Spread your rolled out dough with soft butter!

Mix together some sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle it on top of that butter!

Fold your rectangle in half, and cut into 12 thin strips…

Now you want are going to twist each strip, and tie it into a loose knot. Don’t worry, they don’t have to be perfect!

Place them all on a large lined baking sheet. They should all fit on one baking sheet. They don’t spread out too much, but you want to make sure to leave a tiny bit of room between each knot.

Lastly, you want to mix together some cinnamon, melted butter and brown sugar to make your cinnamon crunch topping!

And sprinkle the mixture on top of each knot!

Yum!!

Now its time to bake these guys!…

And there you have it…

Easy, simple and delicious homemade cinnamon crunch knots!

If you make these, I hope you enjoy them as much as my family and I did!
