Sweet Korean Turkey With Couscous

Sweet Korean turkey with couscous has so many wonderful flavors to offer. It’s sweet yet savory with a hint of ginger.

Ground turkey and fresh minced garlic sautéed with a delicious sauce mixture of honey, soy sauce, and ginger. It is the perfect flavor combination.

You can use white rice if you want. I happened to have couscous on hand and no white rice. You could also use brown rice or quinoa. But I am sure that no matter what type of rice you use, it will taste amazing. The flavors in the turkey were incredible.

My favorite type of couscous to use is tricolor. It just looks so colorful and pretty. The brand is Rice Select. It’s probably my favorite couscous to use.

I would say that the garlic and ginger are the most important ingredients for this dish. The flavor that they create when combined is amazing!

When cooking the garlic, make sure not to burn it. You want to cook it just until its nice and fragrant. Then you can add the turkey.

Cook the turkey until it is done. Add the soy sauce and honey mixture along with your garlic. Simmer on low heat for a few minutes, just to get the flavors activated.

You also want to make sure to get the ginger and sauce mixed evenly with the turkey. Once you’ve let your turkey simmer for a few minutes, its time to serve it and enjoy it!

Spoon your couscous or rice into a bowl and top it off with the turkey mixture. Add parsley for garnish (optional).
