Method
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a food processor, puree beans until they are smooth. Make sure there are no pieces of whole beans. If you don't have a food processor, you can use a potato masher, or fork.
- Add your mashed beans to a large mixing bowl.
- Add bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, onion, garlic, paprika and oregano. Mix everything together until well combined.
- If your mixture isn't as tacky and thick as you need, add more bread crumbs to mixture. You want a nice thick consistency just like a meatball.
- On a non stick lined baking sheet, roll mixture into balls, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. They are done when they start to turn golden brown.
- Enjoy these as is, or add them to some sauce with pasta, or on top of a rice bowl, or salad! The possibilities are endless!
