Crockpot buffalo chicken soup is so easy to make. Just like any crockpot recipe! I know I’m not the only one who gets excited when its time to bring out the crockpots.
It’s almost satisfying in a way…making crockpot recipes. Dumping a bunch of ingredients in, turning it on and letting it cook. Then tasting and smelling the end results are the best!
This crockpot buffalo chicken soup is so flavorful! The chicken is so tender and shredded. And you can’t forget the celery that is almost always served as a side with buffalo chicken! The celery is the perfect texture. Not too soft, not too crunchy.
Now, I had a little hiccup with this recipe. I wanted to top the soup off with some crumbled blue cheese, because duh…blue cheese and buffalo wings…
Well, the package I had bought at the store was bad, so I couldn’t use blue cheese for this batch, but I would highly recommend topping yours off with crumbled blue cheese if you like blue cheese!
The cream cheese is what gives this soup its thick, creaminess!
If you aren’t a huge fan of buffalo, but mildly like it, you can add less or more and cater to your preference!
We like our buffalo, so I added a little more to the soup before it was done.
Enjoy!
