This smoothie is simply delicious. Using only real and simple ingredients to assure that your belly is full, healthy and satisfied!
I have been on a smoothie kick lately. They are just so quick and easy to make. But most importantly, they fill you up (depending on what you put in them), and give your body the right nutrients it needs.
I could go on and on for hours naming all the ingredient combos you could do to create a delicious and healthy smoothie. But I will spare you the details and get on with this particular smoothie recipe!
It is honestly so simple and delicious like I said, and the ingredients are so minimal and real!
All you will need are frozen bananas (I always keep a freezer baggy filled with peeled bananas), chia seeds, oat bran or oats, pure maple syrup(make sure it is 100% pure if you want to keep this smoothie a healthy one), cinnamon, and water. That is it!
I know you may be thinking that this smoothie is going to taste so bland with no milk or yogurt…but trust me on this one…it literally tastes like banana bread in liquid form…minus all of the calories and carbs!
You don’t need dairy to make a good smoothie, or a dairy free milk. Water will do the trick. And the good thing about bananas are that they have that creamy texture when blended like milk has. So there you go!
So, all you need to do is obviously measure out all of your ingredients, throw them all in the blender (not literally, that may get messy, unless you are good at basketball and shooting hoops) and blend blend blend until everything looks mixed together and creamy!
Serve it in a glass with a straw and enjoy!!
