Ok, so the new year is creeping up on us, and we all know that with a new year comes resolutions. Theres about a 99% chance that if I asked you what one of your New Years resolutions was, you would say “to eat healthier” or “loose weight”.
We are all guilty of it. When Christmas comes around, you tend to eat an abnormal and disturbing amount of sugar, fat, calories and carbs. I know I am guilty of it.
I know this is so cliche, but now is the time to get your body back into its routine of eating healthy foods, and feeling better. Thats why I tried out this recipe. It was delicious, and my body felt great after. Nice and full too!
A mixture of green and purple cabbage, carrots, green onion, edamame, cashews, and crunchy chow mien noodles, tossed with a delicious sesame ginger dressing. You can make your own if you’d prefer, but I found one that I really like by Newmans Own.
Its as easy as chopping up your cabbage, carrots, and green onion. Add all of that to a large bowl. Add your edamame, cashews and chow mien noodles. Drizzle dressing on top, mix everything together well.
There you have it. A delicious, flavorful and colorful salad. This salad stores well in an air tight container for a few days.
