This easy cranberry and walnut artisan bread is the perfect sweet and savory treat! Crunchy crust on the outside. Chunks of sweet and tart cranberries and nutty walnuts!

I have a few bread recipes on my website, but nothing like this one! Bread is one the best foods to bake. You can make it sweet or savory or both! And you can get super creative. This easy cranberry and walnut artisan bread is perfect to switch things up!

Have you ever made your own bread before? If not, you have to! Its so easy, and the results are the best! The aromas fresh bread gives off while baking. It will make you so happy and satisfied to know that YOU made it.

Theres nothing like a fresh loaf of bread from the bakery, am I right? Well, you can be your own bakery!

The only downside of baking bread, in my opinion is waiting for the dough to rise. But that’s why you should prepare this dough later on in the day, and let it rise overnight while you’re sleeping!

Look at that…So many cranberries, so many walnuts, and that dense but airy bread! Yum!

Easy Cranberry And Walnut Artisan Bread

Easy Cranberry Walnut Artisan Bread

Servings 1 Loaf

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cups Artisan Bread Flour OR All Purpose Flour
  • ½ TSP Instant Yeast
  • ½ Cup Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 Cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1 ½ Cups Warm Water
  • ¼ Cup Honey, heated up to be more liquid than thick

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, yeast, walnut and cranberries with a wooden spoon.
  • Add your warm water to flour mixture, and heated up honey. Mix with wooden spoon until dough forms.
  • Cover tightly with plastic wrap and let rise for about 18-24 hours.
  • When bread dough has risen, preheat oven to 450°.
  • Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat, or non stick method. You can use flour, cooking spray, parchment paper, etc.
  • With well floured hands, pick up dough and place on baking sheet. Form it into somewhat of a ball. It does not have to be perfect.
  • Bake in preheatd oven for 40-45 minutes.
