Greek Yogurt Funfetti Cupcakes
These greek yogurt funfetti cupcakes are better than the OG funfetti cupcake! Using only 3 ingredients, they are so easy to make, super moist and the perfect sweet treat!
It is amazing what you can do with greek yogurt. There are so many recipes you can alter with greek yogurt to cut out certain ingredients. Or to make baked goods super moist! Just like these greek yogurt funfetti cupcakes!
Ive tried lots of cupcakes in my lifetime, and sometimes they are too dry. These guys are the total opposite!
They are so moist, and soft! And to be completely honest, I think they taste better than an actual cupcake. I ate four of them. FOUR! And this wasn’t like over the course of a few hours or a few days. This was like over the course of 20 minutes? They are THAT good.
When it comes to cupcakes, or cake in general. I never have more than a serving. I’ll have a small slice of cake, or one cupcake, if that.
It’s a totally different story with these cupcakes.
Just like if you were to make a batch of box cake mix cupcakes, you mix the ingredients together. But for these guys, we are only using greek yogurt, water and the cake mix.
Not a fan of funfetti? You can use pretty much any cake mix for this recipe!
Like I do with all of my cookies or cupcakes, I use a handy dandy ice cream scoop. This allows for every cupcake to be pretty much the same size.
I guarantee, any kid would love these cupcakes, and wouldn’t be able to tell the difference! If anything, they would like these better!

Greek Yogurt Funfetti Cupcakes
Ingredients
- 1 box of funfetti cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup 0% fat plain greek yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Grease cupcake/muffin pans.
- In a large bowl, mix together cake mix, water and greek yogurt.
- Spoon batter into greased cupcake molds.
- I did about 2 tablespoon sized scoops for each cupcake. (mine made about 19 cupcakes)
- Bake in preheated oven for 12-15 minutes.
- Insert toothpick in middle of cupcake to ensure they are done.
- Enjoy!
