This grilled peaches with vanilla ice cream recipe looks like one of those fancy desserts you’d order at a fancy restaurant. But its actually super simple!
Peaches are one of my favorite summer time fruits. They are so soft and juicy. Whats better than a sweet juicy peach that’s been warmed up on the grill, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top that melts a little bit? Its perfection!
Did I mention how simple and easy this recipe is to make?! All you need are some peaches, olive oil, a grill and ice cream. Also, mint leaves for garnish, which are totally optional. I must say though, the mint leaves give it that fancy schmancy look.
I tried to get different angles of this dessert, just to show the perfection of it. Try to mentally taste the goodness, just by looking at this delicious picture!!
Ive always wondered how fruit on the grill tasted. I thought it would be an awkward taste. But I was soooo wrong. The grill brings out the sweetness of the peaches, and turns them into these amazing soft and juicy fruit gems!
There is the perfect amount of char left on the peaches, which gives it this amazing, faint grill taste.
It is extremely important you make sure to brush a significant amount of olive oil on the cut side of the peaches. If not, they will stick to your grill grates and it’ll be a disaster.
When serving this dessert, you want to make sure to serve them topped with ice cream as soon as they get off the grill. The best part of these guys is when the ice cream melts a bit.
Its amazing!!!
