You might be wondering why these burgers are called “grilled turkey zucchini burgers”. Wheres the zucchini? Its in the burger!
Zucchini is filled with lots and lots of water/moisture. If you end up making this recipe, you will see that we actually squeeze a lot of the moisture out. But the zucchini has more moisture to offer during the cooking process.
The shredded zucchini helps make this burger so moist and juicy!
In fact, this burger was so soft and juicy…I was second guessing if it was cooked! It absolutely was. If you know me, you know I cook any meat dish well. Im always paranoid when it comes to undercooked meat!
Not that you would want to, but you could probably over cook these guys, and not even notice! We can thank the shredded zucchini for that moisture!
Like I mentioned, this burger is dressed with some tasty condiments!
We’ve got some mayonnaise, honey mustard, dill pickles, a tomato slice and crispy lettuce! It’s the right amount of toppings.
Its still a high and proud burger, but not to the point where you can barley fit it in your mouth. You may have to do the good old smush down before your first bite!
