These Rice Krispie valentine hearts are the perfect way to say “I love you” to your valentine. Wether it be your girlfriend, boyfriend, wife, husband, mom, dad, son, daughter, friend, anyone! If you love them, make them something sweet!

They are easy, and so cute. If you can make, or have made Rice Krispie treats before, then you’re golden.

They are literally Rice Krispie treats, dipped in melted, white chocolate chips, dyed with some pink food coloring!

Rice Krispie treats are probably the easiest dessert recipe I know. No baking time required, which is amazing.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my box of chocolate once a year. But something about a homemade sweet treat is way more meaningful!

Made with love, right?!

If you make these Rice Krispies, I hope you enjoy them!

Servings 12 treats

Ingredients

  • 6 cups rice krispies cereal
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 10 oz. bag of marshmallows
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • coconut oil (optional)

Instructions

  • Make rice krispies according to package directions on cereal box or marshmallow package.
  • Using a heart shaped cookie cutter ( I used two sizes which is optional), cut out hearts when treats have cooled and set.
  • Melt 1½ cups of the white chocolate chips. Add about a teaspoon of coconut oil (optional) to make melted chocolate looser. Add about a drop of pink food coloring to melted chocolate and stir until dye mixes in well with chocolate.
  • Dip hearts half way in chocolate. Set on parchment paper lined baking sheet and let set.
  • Melt 1/2 cup of the white chocolate chips. Put melted chocolate in a small ziplock baggy, cut a tiny hole on one corner and drizzle white chocolate over hearts.
  • You can mix and match designs, or do all the same. This batch made about 12 treats, but it also depends on the size you use for a cookie cutter.
  • Let the chocolate set and harden. Enjoy!
