Snowball Cookies

These classic snowball cookies are the perfect, festive cookie for the holidays. Soft and buttery, with chunks of walnuts. Coated with the perfect sweetness of confectioners sugar!

Snowball cookies are probably one of the most popular holiday cookies. At least that I’ve witnessed. Every Christmas, I would look forward to stuffing my face with these powdered sugar coated, buttery cookies!

My grammy would always bring a plate filled with an abundance of different types of holiday cookies to Christmas Eve. Thats where I spent most of my time during dessert time. Right near that plate of cookies. Of course, no one will ever be able to make them as good as she did. She had that special touch!

This recipe is quite easy, and uses only a few ingredients. One of those ingredients being butter. And a lot of it…

Of course, anything with butter is assured to be delicious!

The best part about these cookies, besides the butter, is that when you roll them around in the powdered sugar, the butter melts the sugar a little, and it gives these snowball cookies that perfect coating.

If your like me, and prefer soft cookies over hard/crunchy cookies, then these cookies are for you! They are literally the PERFECT texture.

Powdered sugar is so fun to garnish baked goods with. Especially if your trying to get that snowy look.

These guys are called snowball cookies for a reason. So I wanted them to look somewhat like snowballs!
