Method
- Preheat oven to 375°. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
- Wash squash, and cut in half. Scoop seeds and "guts" out with spoon and toss.
- Season the inside of squash with salt, pepper and onion powder. Drizzle with some olive oil.
- Place the two pieces of squash, cut side down on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
- In the mean time, cook your ground turkey over medium heat.
- Once the turkey is cooked, add your sauce, brown sugar, worcestershire sauce, basil, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Stir everything around until its mixed well. Cover and let simmer over low heat until your spaghetti squash is done.
- When squash is done, let it cool down to handle.
- Using a fork, scoop out the spaghetti squash and place it in the pan with the sauce. Mix everything around to get the spaghetti squash coated.
- Sprinkle with some parmesan cheese (optional) and enjoy!
