Are you a fan of peanut butter? Peanut butter cookies? Soft, moist delicious cookies? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you have to make the cookies…and you can thank me later!
I have been working on the perfect peanut butter cookie recipe for a while now. I felt the need to perfect a recipe. After all, peanut butter cookies are one of my favorite kinds!
There is just the right amount of every ingredient you need to make an awesome peanut butter cookie. Butter being one of the main ingredients…of course.
Most peanut butter cookie recipes call for 1/2 cup of peanut butter. Well, I went above and beyond and added a little more than a 1/2 cup to this recipe.
In my opinion, a peanut butter cookie is supposed to taste like peanut butter. Not hints of peanut butter, but actual peanut butter! Not to mention, peanut butter has natural oils, which gives the cookies more moisture.
The trick to this recipe is you have to make sure to use all natural, unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter. I swear, that’s the secret ingredient.
And, ok…I know alot of people are against raw cookie dough, and freak out if someone eats some…but I am all for it. Pro raw cookie dough!!
There happened to be a little bit of cookie dough left over when I was done scooping out the second batch, soooo naturally I ate the rest. And let me tell you, I don’t regret it. It was amazing.
I think this is the 5th time I’ve made this cookie recipe ever since I perfected it…which was about a month ago. You do the math. Oops! What can I say? They are just THAT GOOD!
