Best Ever Turkey Burgers
These best ever turkey burgers are anything but average. They are super juicy, topped with caramelized onions and a garlic aioli! They will be a new family favorite!

For Garlic Aioli
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- pinch ground pepper
- 1/2 tbsp honey dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
For Caramelized Onions
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
- pinch of salt + black pepper
For Turkey Burgers
- 1.5 lbs. Ground Turkey, lean I used 93% lean
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 heaping tbsp grated sweet onion with juice I grated my onion with a cheese grater by hand, and caught everything (onion and juice) in a bowl.

In a small bowl, mix together all ingredients for aioli. Set aside.
In a large sauté pan, heat 1 tbsp of butter and 1/2 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions, salt and pepper. Cover and cook until onions become dark brown and caramelized. About 10-15 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together ingredients for turkey burgers. Form mixture into 4 patties.
In another large, non-stick sauté pan, or skillet, drizzle some olive oil and heat over medium-high heat. Add all 4 patties to skillet. Cover and cook for about 7-10 minutes on each side. Or until the internal temperature of burger reaches 165°.
Serve burgers by adding turkey burger to bun, then some garlic aioli on top of burger, followed by some caramelized onions on top of aioli, and top with bun. Enjoy!
