Cake Batter Protein Balls
These cake batter protein balls are perfect! They have the perfect texture, and perfect flavor! And the best part is...they are healthy!
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Total Time 10 minutes mins
Servings 10 protein balls
- 1/2 cup cashew butter, salted If cashew butter is unsalted, add a pinch of salt to mixture.
- 2 tbsps pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp almond extract
- 1/3 cup gluten free oat flour I used bobs red mill
- sprinkles for rolling
In a medium bowl, using a handheld mixer, mix all ingredients together, minus the sprinkles.
Using a tablespoon or tablespoon sized scoop, scoop dough and roll into balls.
Put some sprinkles in a bowl, and roll balls in sprinkles. You may have to push the sprinkles into the balls. They gave me some trouble with sticking, but they eventually stuck!
You can enjoy these protein balls right away, or let them chill in your fridge. I personally like them better chilled!
Store these protein balls in an air tight container, in fridge for up to 1 week!
Enjoy!
