Damn Good Granola

This damn good granola is...well, damn good! It's so easy to make, and has only natural ingredients. Crunchy and sweet with a hearty flavor. Top it on yogurt, eat it as cereal, or as is!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raw almonds and raw hazlenuts mixed you can use your nut of choice, as long as they are raw and unsalted. I mixed together almonds and hazlenuts to make 1/2 cup.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup all natural or raw honey
  • 1/4 cup hemp seed hearts

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Line a medium baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together oats, nuts, cinnamon, honey and hemp seed hearts. (things will get a little sticky and crumbly, but keep mixing and pressing your spoon into the mixture. Eventually the mixture will come together.)
  4. Press mixture firmly into the lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Let granola sit for 20 minutes to harden before breaking up. Store in an air tight container.
  7. Enjoy!
