Method
- Peel skin off of ginger root, and cut up into skinny pieces.
- Add 12 cups of water to a large sauce pan. Add cut up ginger.
- Bring to a boil, and boil for 15 minutes.
- Let water cool in pan before pouring it into pitcher.
- Once the water has cooled a bit, use a strainer to catch any pieces of ginger root when pouring water into pitcher.
- Add sliced lemon to pitcher.
- Enjoy once it has cooled completely. I prefer it chilled with ice.
