Ginger Water With Lemon

Servings: 3 Quarts

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Quart Pitcher
  • 12 Cups water
  • 1 Lemon
  • Ginger Root

Method
 

  1. Peel skin off of ginger root, and cut up into skinny pieces.
  2. Add 12 cups of water to a large sauce pan. Add cut up ginger.
  3. Bring to a boil, and boil for 15 minutes.
  4. Let water cool in pan before pouring it into pitcher.
  5. Once the water has cooled a bit, use a strainer to catch any pieces of ginger root when pouring water into pitcher.
  6. Add sliced lemon to pitcher.
  7. Enjoy once it has cooled completely. I prefer it chilled with ice.
  8. Enjoy!!
