Gooey Nutella Banana Muffins

These banana muffins are nice and soft on the inside, with a gooey chocolatey swirl of Nutella on top.
Servings 12 Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 3 Ripe Bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1/4 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1/2 Cup Hazelnut Spread I used Nutella

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Prepare a muffin pan with non stick spray or muffin cups.
  • Mix together dry ingredients until well combined.
  • Add in egg, butter and mashed bananas. Mix until well combined.
  • Scoop dough into prepared muffin cups. I used an ice cream scoop full of dough for each cup.
  • Add about a teaspoon full of hazlenut spread on top of each muffin. Use toothpick to swirl hazlenut spread into muffin dough.
  • Bake in prehheated oven for 17 minutes. To check if they are done, insert toothpick into middle of muffin. If it comes out clean, they are done.
