Fill shaker with ice.
In a small bowl, mix together your honey and warm water until honey is completely dissolved. Set aside.
Before cutting your lemon in half, take a sharp knife and carefully cut a strip of lemon peel for your twist/garnish. Set aside.
Cut lemon in half, and squeeze half of the lemon into your shaker.
Add your vodka to shaker.
Add triple sec to shaker.
Add all of liquid honey.
Cover shaker and shake for a good 20 seconds.
Pour drink into a martini glass. Take your lemon peel and twist over drink to express the oils for even more flavor! Place twist on the side of glass or in drink.
