Preheat oven to 350º.
In an oven safe skillet, heat up olive oil over medium-high heat. Place chicken breast in skillet, season with salt and pepper. Cook on each side for 3 minutes. Transfer chicken to plate when done but keep skillet on heat, lowered to medium-low, and keep juices from chicken in skillet.
Add your minced garlic to skillet and cook for one minute. Add your half and half, red pepper flakes, chicken broth, parmesan cheese and tomatoes to skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add chicken back to skillet and spoon sauce over chicken breasts. Cook in preheated oven for about 10 minutes (depending on the thickness of chicken breasts).
When done, sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top.
