Mini Cheese Danish

This recipe for mini cheese danishes is super easy, and delicious! Using crescent rolls for the base, and a sweet, creamy mixture for the center that is quick and easy!

- 1 can of refrigerated crescent roll dough, low fat using low fat is optional for a more guilt free treat!
- 4 oz. cream cheese, low fat using low fat is optional for a more guilt free treat!
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For Icing Drizzle
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp milk
Preheat oven to 350°.
Keep dough in log form, and cut slices about 1/4 inch thick. Place slices on a lined baking sheet.
Press down in center of each slice to make an indentation for cream cheese filling.
In a bowl using a hand held mixer, cream together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and lemon juice until nice and smooth.
Add about 1 tbsp of cream cheese filling in each indentation on each slice of dough.
Bake in preheated oven for 15-20 min, or until they start to turn a light golden brown.
Let cool for 15 minutes before adding icing drizzle.
