Mississippi Pot Roast

This recipe for Mississippi pot roast is a melt in your mouth meal! Beef is slow cooked in a mixture of butter, pepperoncini, and delicious seasonings!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs. chuck roast
  • 4 tbsps butter
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet of au jus gravy mix
  • 5 pepperoncini peppers
  • mashed potatoes or grain of choice to serve with (optional) I served my pot roast on top of some mashed potatoes.

Method
 

  1. Place chuck roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Add packet of ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, butter and pepperoncinis on top of chuck roast.

  3. Cook on low heat for 8 hours. Shred beef apart with fork.
  4. Serve over mashed potatoes or grain of choice. Enjoy!
