Pumpkin Cheese Ball

This pumpkin cheese ball is the perfect appetizer to bring to a Halloween Party. Creamy, and cheesy with a hint of ranch seasoning. YUM!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Orange Bell Pepper, diced into small pieces Make sure to find a pepper with a nice big stem to reserve
  • 16 OZ. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 Packet Ranch Seasoning Mix
  • 2 Cups Orange Shredded Cheese, divided in half
  • Plastic Wrap
  • 4 Rubber Bands Make sure the rubber bands aren't too big, that way they squeeze into the ball to make an indent

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl mix together cream cheese, ranch seasoning, diced pepper, and 1 cup of the shredded cheese. I used a hand held mixer, but you can use a spoon as well.
  2. Lay out a decent amount of plastic wrap on flat surface. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on plastic wrap.
  3. Scoop cream cheese mixture on plastic wrap on top of sprinkled cheddar cheese.
  4. Shape the cream cheese mixture into a ball shape using your hands, and take the rest of the shredded cheese and cover the entire ball.
  5. Once the ball is covered evenly with shredded cheese, you want to wrap the ball completely in the plastic wrap. Make sure none of it is exposed.
  6. Take the rubber bands, and place them around the ball, making a star if you will.
  7. Let sit in fridge wrapped up with rubber bands for a few hours.
  8. When ready to serve, take off rubber bands, unwrap the plastic wrap and place on serving dish. Top with the reserved pepper stem, and enjoy!!!
