Sautéed Brussel Sprouts With Chicken Sausage

Servings: 2 People

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. Brussel Sprouts
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1/2-1 lb. Chicken Sausage, sliced in thin coins
  • 1 TSP Onion Powder

Method
 

  1. Wash and slice your brussel sprouts the long way, trimming off the stem.
  2. In large bowl mix together the brussel sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  3. Over medium-high heat, cook brussel sprouts cut side down for about 5 min, cover pan.
  4. When they start turning brown, turn them over to other side and add the sausage.
  5. Cover and cook for another 15-20 minutes. Make sure to stir around here and there.
  6. Once the brussel sprouts look dark brown and tender, they are done.
  7. Enjoy!
