Slow Cooked BBQ Pulled Chicken

Servings: 4 People

Ingredients
  

Ranch Slaw
  • 2 Cups Green Cabbage, chopped
  • 2 TBSP Ranch Dressing
  • 1/2 TSP Dill (optional)
BBQ Pulled Chicken
  • 2 LBS. Skinless & Boneless Chicken Breast
  • 1 Cup bbq sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Italian Dressing
  • 1 TBSP Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
  • Salt, to taste
  • Red Onion, thinly sliced rings (optional) For topping on bun

Method
 

  1. In a crockpot, add chicken. Sprinkle with some salt.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together bbq sauce, Italian dressing, Worcestershire sauce and brown sugar.
  3. Pour bbq sauce mixture on top of chicken in crockpot. Cover and cook on high heat for 3-4 hours.
  4. When chicken is done, take breasts out of crockpot and onto a large plate. Using two forks, shred the chicken. Place shredded chicken back into crockpot and cook for another 15 minutes.
  5. In meantime, put together your ranch slaw (if you are serving this pulled chicken on a bun). Chop your cabbage and mix with ranch dressing and dill.
  6. Serve pulled chicken on a bulky roll, with slaw and red onion on top. Or eat this pulled chicken any way you'd like!!
