In a medium bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, smashed garlic cloves, honey, cumin, smoked paprika, cinnamon, ginger, oregano, turmeric, salt and pepper.
Place chicken breast in a large ziplock bag, or large bowl and add the marinade. Make sure to mix chicken around to get each piece coated well.
Let marinate at least 4 hours. The longer you let it marinate, the better! I let mine sit over night.
When you're ready to grill chicken, preheat grill to medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 3 minutes on each side. Or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°.
Top with thinly sliced red onions and fresh chopped oregano.
Serve with side dish of choice.
