The Easiest Bagel Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Cup Unbleached all purpose flour
  • 2 TSPS Baking powder
  • 3/4 TSP Salt
  • 1 Cup Plain non-fat greek yogurt
  • 1 Egg Beaten
  • Choice of toppings I used dried onion flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375º. Prepare baking sheet with non stick cooking spray or silpat mat.
  2. In a medium size bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add greek yogurt and mix around under dough forms.
  4. Place dough on well floured surface and knead about 15 times.
  5. Divide dough into 4 balls. Roll out into 3/4 inch ropes and make into a connected circle, or poke a hole in middle of dough ball with finger.
  6. Place bagels on baking sheet. Brush egg wash on top of each bagel and add desired toppings.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes. Let cool. Enjoy!!
