You’re gonna want to keep this recipe for the best marinated chicken on hand for the upcoming grilling season! Spring is finally here in New England, and summer is just around the corner, which means…grilling time!
I don’t know about you, but when the warm weather hits, I do most of my cooking on the deck, and on the grill. My oven is rarely used!
You can grill SO much. I’m sure you can even bake cookies on the grill…
But, ok…I’m getting off track here. Let’s talk more about these delicious, and juicy grilled chicken breasts.
It’s all about the marinade really. Lots and lots of seasonings/spices are what give this chicken so much flavor.
Maybe you already knew this, and it’s basically common sense, BUT, did you know that every good marinade has at least one acidic ingredient? I guess I never really realized that. But the acidity of that certain ingredient is what helps make the meat so tender and juicy!
With that being said, if you ever come across a marinade recipe that doesn’t consist of an acidic ingredient, you don’t want it!
The acidic ingredient for this marinade is good old lemon juice.
I served this chicken with some roasted beets and a side salad!
If you make this recipe, I hope you enjoy it!
