Grilled Steak Salad With Balsamic Dressing

Servings: 2 People

Ingredients
  

  • 8 OZ. Steak, grilled I used strip steak
  • 4 Cups Lettuce of choice
  • 1 Cup Cherry Tomatoes (halved)
  • 1/2 Medium red onion, sliced thin strips
  • 1/3 Cup Gorgonzola or Blue cheese, crumbled
For Balsamic Dressing
  • 1/2 Cup olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 TSP Garlic (minced) 1 clove
  • 2 TSP Honey
  • 1 TSP Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 TSP Salt
  • 1/4 TSP Black Pepper

Method
 

  1. In a small bowl, combine all of the ingredients for balsamic dressing. Cover and set aside. (I made my balsamic dressing ahead of time to let the flavors marinate together.)
  2. Put together your salad in large serving bowl or plate. Add lettuce, top with halved cherry tomatoes and sliced onion.
  3. Cook steak on grill to desired doneness. When steak is done, take off grill and let sit on a plate for a few minutes.
  4. Place steak on top of lettuce, followed by blue cheese crumbles.
  5. Drizzle your balsamic dressing on top, evenly.
  6. Enjoy!
