Muddy Buddy Crispy Clusters
This recipe for muddy buddy crispy clusters requires no baking, and is super simple. Rice Krispy cereal is mixed with melted peanut butter and chocolate, and formed into clusters. Then coated in powdered sugar!
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Total Time 40 minutes mins
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter I used jif
- 5 cups rice krispy cereal
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
In a microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in 30 second intervals, mixing in between every 30 seconds until everything is smooth and melted.
Add the rice krispy cereal to a large mixing bowl, pour melted chocolate and peanut butter all over cereal, and mix until well and evenly coated.
On a lined baking sheet, drop heaping spoonfuls of mixture. I used a cookie/ice cream scoop so the clusters stayed together.
Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes to set up.
When clusters are hard and set up, place in a large ziplock freezer bag, and add powdered sugar.
Shake bag to coat clusters evenly with powdered sugar.
Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Enjoy!
